We chose to see Mr Veer because of his special interest in snoring and sleep apnoea for our 4 year old son who had always been a bad sleeper but had over the last year been falling percentiles in his height and weight.  Mr Veer was very engaging with our son and diagnosed him with obstructive sleep aponea which was likely being caused by his enlarged tonsils. He took the time to present the different options and the different research that was out there, answered our many questions,  and gave us ample time to sleep over whether to have them removed  which we subsequently did. This decision was made far easier because we felt that Mr Veer genuinely cared for the best interests of our son.  The operation was extremely smooth and Mr Veer came to visit our son before the operation and played with him to calm him down and made him feel comfortable.  He came to check on him after the operation and reassured us that everything had gone well.  Our son had since grown an inch in  the 3 weeks post the surgery which was more than what he had grown in the last 6 months We would thoroughly recommend Mr Veer and are very glad we choose him to see our son

Mr Veer has a great way with people and I felt totally confident in everything he said and suggested. He always answered all questions in a frank but understandable way. After a year of trying different antibiotics (to get rid of a chronic infection that had gone undetected for years), he ended up having to perform surgery on my sinuses. He is so reassuring and personable that I felt totally confident in all he was doing. Nearly 2 years after my first consult with him my sinuses are so much better and I am finally free from recurring, debilitating infections.

I went to see Mr Veer as I’ve been suffering with episodes of vertigo with other symptoms for a few years, which my doctor thought may be BPPV. After a long chat, during which Mr Veer asked me loads of questions and did a couple of tests, he thought it most likely to be migraine-related. He also wrote a letter to my GP, copying me, with all of the details and his conclusions and recommendations. I was so delighted with the time he gave me and the care he took during my consultation. I left feeling that I’d been really listened to and it was a pleasure to meet him.

I went to see Mr Veer with Tinnitus having found him on the Spire Bushey website and read his impressive CV He operated on me to insert an ear grommet. All contact with him was very professional and very personable. His medical skills are combined with a wonderfully amiable personality and an ability to explain his diagnosis and options for treatment in a manner that I could readily understand. I have had contact with many consultants in recent years and Mr Veer is right at the top of those who I would whole heartedly recommend.
